In the third mid-term business plan (for fiscal
2006 to 2008), by holding a slogan "Aiming
at a reliable global supplier (manufacturing is
attained from the development of human resources)",
we are tackling with 8 tasks: development of human
resources, quality-first operation, building of
overseas capacity, improvement-proposing sales
force, overall cost restructuring, development
of new products, strengthening of environmental
control, and strengthening of the internal control
system. In addition, we are taking a more aggressive,
forward-looking attitude, speeding restructuring
and decision-making.
For us the year 2007 was one for "paving
the way for creation of a corporate culture that
contributes to global social development through
manufacturing." Under this slogan we bent
our energies steadily to "building of human
resources and product quality." On a consolidated
account basis, our sales for fiscal 2006 ended
March 2007 was ¥48,150 million, the operating
profit was ¥2,027 million, recurring profit
¥1,700 million, the net profit was ¥743
million. For half of fiscal 2007, sales were ¥25,525
million, the operating profit was ¥840
million, recurring profit ¥522 million,
and the net profit was ¥338 million.
In the final year of the third mid-term business
plan we will promote our business centering on
the "building of human resources and product
quality."
We will not only succeed to and make use of tangible
and intangible assets of your company but make
them grow by adding new values. Amidst mounting
worldwide competition we will further hone out
manufacturing skill and develop new rewarding
products speedily and timely in an attempt to
limitlessly adding to the value of your company.
